Message from the Principal

Students Standing with Principal

Hello Brownstone families,

As we move through each school year, I continue to be incredibly proud of our Brownstone students and the positive culture we are building together. At BIS, our goal is not only strong academic growth, but also helping students develop a genuine love for school, a sense of independence, and a commitment to kindness.

Each day, we emphasize our three core expectations:
Be Kind and Respectful, Be Safe and Responsible, and Be Engaged and Curious.
These expectations guide how we learn, interact, and grow as a school community.

We want our students to feel excited about coming to school, confident in their ability to take ownership of their learning, and proud of how they treat others. When students feel safe, supported, and connected, they are able to do their very best.

A key part of that success is the strong partnership we share with our families. Our staff takes great pride in working together with you to support each child, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Your support, communication, and involvement make a meaningful difference in the experience our students have each day.

Thank you for being an essential part of the Brownstone community. Together, we will continue to create a school environment where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired.

Joe Santavenere

Principal
